SDBC Sunday Ride
SDBC is now hosting an ongoing Sunday ride leaving from UCC Cyclery at 8:30 a.m.
An SDBC ride leader will lead all rides and participants are expected to bring emergency contact information, be familiar with group riding skills, adhere to safe riding habits, and assist in keeping group together. Camaraderie is the key.
We will leave from the same time & place each week, UC Cyclery, go approx 40-45 miles, similar to our D2 Ride & pace, to arrive at Java Depot or possible other coffee shop around 11:00 a.m. It is not a beginners ride, nor a no-drop ride, yet we may stop for flats.
Routes will vary, with hills, possible pace-line work if applicable, and with at least one brief rest/water stop before coffee shop. It will be challenging at times, but overall doable & fun--like our D2 Ride.
Arrive at 8:15 for announcements, bring 2 bottles of fluid and be ready to roll at 8:30.
